Hello, again! I just wrote a Haiku and I think you'll like it. Here it is.

Rain falls on my head
The coolness makes me shiver
Racing down slowly

The format of a HAIKU is 5 syllables on the first line, 7 syllables on the second line, and 5 syllables on the last line. I just love Haikus 'cause they're so beautiful sounding. I know the president of the Poetry Society of South Carolina,  the oldest Poetry Society in the country. Also my gifted and talented class teacher taught me all about the different types of poetry such as Concrete Poems, and Acrostic Poems. My two favorite things to do to calm myself down if I'm mad are to either scream into my pillow or write a poem.

I created this blog because my mom said it would be cool. I think it's because she believes my observations are interesting. I think they're quite wonderful sometimes,too.  I love to write, and I'm always writing stories at school.  This could be a fun place to share. And mom says it will help me practice my typing, too.
